1985 erschien im Weltkreisverlag das "Kleine Weiberlexikon" - ISBN 3-88142-312-5. Es enthielt aktuelle Informationen, interessante Hintergründe und kritische Kommentare über den Frauenalltag gestern und heute. Ein spannendes, Nachschlagewerk. 572 Seiten stark und voller Informationen über Frauen und nicht nur das.
Das Buch enthielt sehr viele Fotos von mir, was mich als freibrufliche Fotografin sehr freute, auch, wenn es nicht sehr viel Honorar brachte. Dann, und dies war besonders ehrenvoll, wurde mein Name unter dem Stichwort "Fotografie" erwähnt.
Toll, ich werde schon zu meinen Lebzeiten in einem Lexikon genannt.

1996 erschien dann ein Taschenbuch bei Heyne ISBN: 3453091558, ebenfalls 527 Seiten und ebenfalls kein Honoarar für mich und diesmal nicht einmal ein Belegexemplar.
Then in 1996 a paperback appeared with Heyne ISBN: 3453091558, likewise 527 sides and likewise no Honoarar for me and this time not even a document copy. Heute Morgen nun klingelte der Postbote und brachte mir ein schweres Pakte. Ich hatte kein Buch bestellt und öffnete es also voller Spannung.
Das Paket enhielt 2 Bücher, Titel: Das Weiberlexikon. Von Abenteurerin bis Zyklus erschienen im März 2006 (!) im Papyrossa Verlag.
This morning now the postman give to me an heavy pacts. I had ordered no book and opened it to full tension. The parcel enhielt 2 books, titles: "The woman's encyclopaedia. From adventuress to cycle" - Das Weiberlexikon. Von Abenteurerin bis Zyklus -appeared in March, 2006 (!) in the Papyrossa publishing company. In the preface one says: Finally! 20 years after the first edition appears, long out-of-print, " the woman's encyclopaedia " in the fifth edition, considerably revised, updates, extends and how the first edition is late " by various difficulties and-Imponderabilien ". ..."What has changed? What is unfinished? "

Im Vorwort heißt es: Endlich! 20 Jahre nach der Erstauflage erscheint, lange vergriffen, „Das Weiberlexikon" in der fünften Auflage, erheblich überarbeitet, aktualisiert, erweitert und wie die Erstauflage „durch mancherlei Schwierigkeiten und -Imponderabilien verspätet". In großen Teilen ein neues Buch, ist es doch geblieben, was es war: ein informatives Lese- und Bilderbuch zum Nachschlagen und Schmökern. Von Abenteurerin bis Zyklus haben wir zusammengetragen, was es aktuell und historisch mit der Politik von, für, mit und solcher gegen Frauen, dem Frauenalltag, der Frauen­bewegung, der Situation der Frauen in Deutschland und international auf sich hat: Geschichte und Politik, Gesundheit und Recht, Bildende Kunst, Fotografie, Film, Literatur, Tanz, Theater oder Sport. „Klassische" Stichworte wie Arbeit, Emanzipation, Feminismus, Geschlechterver­hältnis, Sexualität und Gewalt sollen ebenso wie Cyberfeminismus, Gender Mainstreaming, Philosophie, Qneer, Femalismus oder Womanismus auch neugierig auf eigene Entdeckungen machen. Was hat sich verändert? Was ist unerledigt?

Und tatsächlich es hat sich verändert, ich werde unter dem Stichwort Fotografie nicht mehr genannt - das schmerzt.
Nun hoffe ich jedoch Honorar zu bekommen, denn im Buch sind zahlreiche Fotografien von mir. Der Verlag verwendet außerdem, so konnte ich feststellen, eine Fotografie von mir, sehr schlecht gedruckt, als Eigenwerbung.
